We were called on site because this sewage chamber was overflowing. We arranged a suck out service and chamber clean. The pump was extracted and we tested the electrical circuit which was faulty. It was blocked with foreign objects so the pump needed to be replaced.
After we quoted to do the repairs the customer used the chamber for a whole weekend without a pump after the suck-out. This resulted in a second suck-out the next Monday. Only thereafter they gave us the go ahead to replace the pump.
We installed a new pump and new control box to protect the pump against overload. The box also warns the customer of a high-level alarm audibly and visually.
